Mayor DePamphilis

Richard L. DePamphilis III has lived in Linwood since 1984. Rick has demonstrated his total commitment to Linwood through involvement in numerous activities, boards and programs vital to our community. Serving as coach and President of numerous sports organizations including Linwood Panthers Football, LASAR Basketball and Linwood Little League. Rick served as secretary of the Atlantic County Junior Football League for 13 years and spent two years on the Linwood Board of Recreation. He was a member of the Mainland Football Parents Club and past President of the Mainland Regional Sports Booster Club. He served as President of the Linwood Republican Club for four years. He presently serves as Chairman of the Board of School Estimates and as a member of the Linwood Planning Board.
 
Rick and his wife Sally have been married for 35 years and have four children.  Richard IV age 34 works for Atlantic Coast Alarm Company, Kristen age 33 is a Special  Education teacher in Galloway, Dominic age 24 attends Rutgers/Camden School of Law, and Anthony  age 22 is Senior at Monmouth University.

Rick is Business Manager for Thomas United, Inc. located in Pleasantville. Thomas United, Inc. is involved in installing commercial kitchens in schools and casinos.  He received a BA degree in Historical Studies from Richard Stockton College and is certified by the State of New Jersey as a Teacher of Social Studies. Rick is a veteran of the United States Navy. He loves sports and history and is committed to family, friends, neighbors and most of all the City of Linwood.

Rick loves living in Linwood, “I enjoy being involved in the community, helping people and serving the residents, it gives me purpose and much satisfaction.”
