Recreation Board Meeting Cancelation   (3/21/2018)
The Recreation Board meeting scheduled for March 21, 2018 has been canceled due to the weather conditions. The meeting has been rescheduled to March 28, 2018 at 7:30 PM.

ACUA Collection Notice   (3/21/2018)
The ACUA has cancelled trash and recycling collections for Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Wednesday collections will be done on Thursday. Thursday and Friday collections will be performed on Friday. Yard Waste scheduled for Saturday will be picked up on Saturday as scheduled.

Paving Projects   (11/28/2017)
See the attached list of streets to be paved in 2017. The South Jersey Gas paving will begin on November 28, 2017. The 2017 Linwood Road Program will begin early in 2018.

Elected Officials Hall of Fame   (2/3/2016)
The New Jersey State League of Municipalities inducted Linwood City Councilman Elliot Beinfest into the Elected Officials Hall of Fame on February 3, 2016 at the State House Annex in Trenton. Councilman Beinfest was first elected to City Council in November of 1994 and is currently serving his eighth consecutive term.

The City of Linwood is a suburban community located in Atlantic County, New Jersey. The city comprises an area of four square miles lying approximately nine miles to the west of Atlantic City and bounded by the municipalities of Northfield, Egg Harbor Township, and Somers Point.

The City is accessible by land via the Garden State Parkway, a major north-south artery which is adjacent to the City and provides access to New York City, and via the Atlantic City Expressway, which is five miles distant and leads directly to Philadelphia. The Parkway going south connects with the Cape May-Lewes ferry service, which provides a convenient, modern method of crossing the Delaware Bay to points south. Atlantic City International Airport (approximately twenty miles distant) provides both commuter and regular air travel to major eastern cities and beyond.
